A queer woman's perspective on Doctor Who, both the classic and new series, as well as its various spin-offs and ephemera.

Sep 6, 2016

On this episode, my discussion is probably equal parts raves and equal parts rants (I'm not so good at math, but that sounds about right) and overall just A WHOLE LOTTA FEELS. Seriously, this is probably the most shiptastic episode I've ever done (Martha/Doctor is still sort of my OTP), so that shippy aspect could possibly put people off, but, hey, it's how I feel about the episode and Martha's tenure on the show, so I had to just go with it to be authentic. *shrug*

Anyway, please won't you join me as I squee about the long-lost 'Doctor Who Confidential' series and also about All Things Martha (because, really, Competency is Sexy!), get nostalgic about the old days of 'Doctor Who' on PBS in North America from my youth, pump my fist in the air for #TeamJulia (it'll make sense once you listen), rant kind of a lot about RTD-style 'Doctor Who' (I know, what a surprise!), and, finally, embarrass myself with a bonus fanmix-song I made ages ago and pulled from the dusty vault of yesteryear in honor of this episode.

So, yeah, enjoy the ride!
